Wesley Biblical Seminary Academics

About the Conference

Transform:ED is Wesley Biblical Seminary’s annual conference on Christian Leadership & Spiritual Formation. T:ED is an academic-level conference emphasizing a holistic view of christian leadership and spiritual formation shaped in the Wesleyan understanding of biblical holiness. A holiness-centered education seeks to be a vehicle for the Holy Spirit’s transformation of our minds, hearts, and actions. Thus, T:ED has the dual emphasis of Christian leadership and spiritual formation.

T:ED provides a dynamic opportunity for integrating the cognitive, spiritual, and relational dimensions of seminary education and Christian leadership. Through lectures, panel discussion, small group dialogue, and worship services, we challenge one another to let the "mind of Christ" transform us for the redemption of the world. The framework for T:ED each year is an exploration of three different comprehensive domains of ministry: Kingdom and the Church, Leadership and Vocation, and Relationship and Formation. The aim of the conference is to create a place of theological conversation for discovering, understanding more deeply, contextualizing, and putting into practice God’s truth in our lives and leadership.

Consistent with the Seminary's core value of a commitment to life-long learning, the T:ED experience is designed for the Seminary's students, faculty, staff, alumni, as well as Christian leaders, pastor, or layperson interested in engaging in transformative theological inquiry.
