Institutional Aid
FOR ON-CAMPUS STUDENTS
Each fall the GPA category for aid will be determined and the student will remain in that GPA category until the end of the academic year. The number of hours (full-time or half-time) will determine the percentage applied within the GPA category. A change in the course load from one semester to the next may cause a student to move to another course load category, thus affecting the amount of aid awarded.

Policies and Practices Governing Student Financial Aid
Any financial aid received by Wesley Biblical Seminary on a student's behalf will be applied directly to the student account of the recipient. The order (priority order, not chronological order) in which financial aid is applied to the student account is as follows:
- Outside scholarships from outside agencies.
- Institutional aid.
- Loan amounts. If institutional aid creates a credit on a student account, the amount of the institutional aid will be reduced to the balance on the student account prior to the posting of student loans. This reduction will take place regardless of the chronological order in which any of the aid was applied.
Maintaining Eligibility for Awards
Students must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (as defined in the current catalog) in order to receive financial aid. Some institutional awards may require a higher standard in order to continue receiving the award. In some instances, a change in enrollment status or a change in eligibility status may cause reduction or repayment of awards.
Drop/Adds After Registration
Courses added after the final day of registration will not be counted in determining the course load category, even if the addition of the course would cause the student to move to a higher course load category. Any exception will be at the discretion of the Financial Aid Committee and the special request from the student's advisor to enroll in an additional class after registration has already taken place.
Courses dropped after the final day of registration will be deducted from the total course load and the amount of aid will be recalculated. This could result in a reduction in the amount of aid awarded
